Unless you love Metallica I would say rent. The band interface is a bit better and it has a larger song count than Aerosmith did, but if you played GH:WT about all that is different is the band interface and how you progress in Career so it is basically just another GH with a lot of Metallica songs in it. I have enjoyed it and due to my being a fan of the band I will probably buy it, the good thing is I can get it from GF for around $40 now so it would already be a nice savings compared to getting it new. I am however waiting a bit before I do so to see if the "oh cool" effect wears off or not.
